Parasol operates 5 different labels: Parasol Records, A Hidden Agenda Record, Mud Records, Reaction Recordings, and Spur Records. Mud focuses specifically on local artists. The other labels also include some local artists, although that is not their primary focus.
Parasol is a melodic pop label. Hidden Agenda artists tend to reflect current musical trends. Reaction Recordings is a reissue label run in conjunction with Ric Menck from Velvet Crush. Spur is a label with country leanings. Over the past 12 years, we have released high profile records by the likes of Grammy nominees The Soundtrack Of Our Lives, White Town who had a #1 hit in 7 countries (and made it to #23 in the US), Bettie Serveert, Quickspace, June & The Exit Wounds, Ken Stringfellow (of The Posies and R.E.M.), Starlet, Sarge, Braid, Club 8, The Green Pajamas, Kevin Tihista’s Red Terror, The Action, Thirdimension, and many, many more.
