A collective based out of Urbana dorms and apartments, started by Ben Campbell (ex-Pinko) and Chris Howeniac. Currently a 6-7 piece, World's First Flying Machine consists of:

Ben- guitar/banjo/vocals, Chris-electric, Laura Lynch-Violin, Kurt Werner-bass/ ukulele/glockenspiel, Brian McGovern-ukulele/glockenspiel/mandolin, Zane Ranney-drums/being devilishly handsome, and Katherine Robinson- vocals/shaking things.

The group has regularly appeared at venues around C-U since starting to play shows in late November '07. Check them out on the facebook or the myspace...or the spacebook?!?
